This extended version of the work published in ISSCC'18 included additional measurement results and provided a more complete description of the UniCaP architecture. Unlike conventional adaptive clocking architectures, UniCaP allows for detection-free adaptive clocking capable without the cycle-loss that results from clock stretching - UniCaP recovers every cycle lost during a supply droop while agressive reducing supply voltage margins.
